Is anyone else besotted with the somber, grizzled one? I was listening to Gossip in the Grain for the thousandth time and actually heard the lyrics to track 6, which as it turns out, is a tribute to Meg White. (Sorry for being not-so-quick-on-the-draw-McGraw, people; I’ve been in Farm to Plate-planning-land!)
I really don’t know much about Lamontagne. Yes, I know there’s a thing called Wikipedia for that, but I just don’t have the time, folks. If someone could keep an eye on his tour schedule for me, though, that’d be great. I see he doesn’t have any upcoming TX tour dates, and given the amount of travel I’ve been undertaking and have happening later in the year, I’m keen to stay put for a while. Oh, but he definitely lives on a farm in Maine. Swoon.

but i had little access to new music while living in switzerland (partly out of laziness and being tied to my very old favorites anyway) and my brother sent me his CD about two years ago, and i played it over and over and over…
