My folks got married in the seventies at Hyde Park Christian Church (610 E. 45th St. between Eilers and Duvall) so it means a great deal to me to be building a community garden there, particularly as it’s celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Morning worship is at 10:30am, followed by a potluck at noon – all are welcome – and at 1:00pm, we’ll head out back to build the raised beds.
